my toe

My left foot little toe is red and warm... All my other toes are normal-colored and kind of coldish...

Does anybody think that this may be a bad sign?

I smell Fluffy coming to comment on this post... Is it something evil, Fluff?

I, too, hear the pitter patter of stuffed cat paws... the sound of a cat throat being cleared of polyester hair.

Fluff?

Well, while we wait...

Tabita--I had the opposite problem for a year or so. Right hand, index finger tip was colder than all the others. There was a lump underneath the surface that I figured was cutting the circulation.

I showed it to my doctor friend and her then doctor boyfriend (manfriend?) and they were underwhelmed. I chalked it up to them being anesthesiologists and not fingertip specialists.

In the end they may have been right. The lump and cold problem disappeared one day. Except once every month or two, that same fingertip will get in a condition where it's colder than the others. But mostly I don't have a problem.

Thanks for sharing that story... :) I'm surprised you've never mentioned it! Well, it makes me feel better.

I am responding for Tabita, who, while naturalized, may not yet be American enough to know this is the only appropriate response to Todd's comment...
