Tabita--I had the opposite problem for a year or so. Right hand, index finger tip was colder than all the others. There was a lump underneath the surface that I figured was cutting the circulation.
I showed it to my doctor friend and her then doctor boyfriend (manfriend?) and they were underwhelmed. I chalked it up to them being anesthesiologists and not fingertip specialists.
In the end they may have been right. The lump and cold problem disappeared one day. Except once every month or two, that same fingertip will get in a condition where it's colder than the others. But mostly I don't have a problem.
