in a daze...

got up at 4 AM on Wed morning to catch a flight to London... sat in meetings for two days and got up at 4 AM on Sat morning to catch a flight to Nashville...

spent about 3 hours in rebecka's bed last night (she wasn't feeling well) and lots of hours in my own (some including rebecka). dreamed of polar bears and friends. not what you would call a sound night's sleep.

now i'm watching "The Perfect Man" (for the 3rd time) with Rebecka and i'm working hard to stay awake... this is what my weekends have turned into - sleeping and watching movies - it rocks.

chao.

Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Got up at 4... Now I'm sitting in my hotel room and there is a horrific band playing lousy covers with terrible "harmony."

Apparently, it's the hotel "Re-Grand Opening." Yippee!!

I'm so tired I can barely think straight... It was all I could do to muster up enough energy to drive from the office to the hotel.

I can't take this music any more!!!!!! It's like they are in my room - that is how loud it is...

Have a nice day. :)

Fun-filled activities

I'm working and watching Rent - at the same time... Could there be a better combination of activities for Labor Day? I don't think so.

Btw, isn't it weird to call a holiday "Labor Day"... Seems like that is the one day of the year one should be working... It's all very confusing.

Working at home while Sophie is out and about is a near impossible task. The problem is if we leave her behind her gate, she commences to produce the most annoying and at the same time pitiful whining that makes us feel like losers and comitters of animal cruelty.

She is a very smart little dog - and lucky for her - very cute. Otherwise she would have been the victim of an "accident" a long time ago. :)

Ahhhh...

Gatorade Saturday.

Just got back from the traditional Saturday run with Todd where he debriefed me on his progress on his dissertation and job search. It was an interesting history lesson on Herrestad gård (Herrestad estate) and one of its owners who was integral in the development of the deaconess movement in Sweden in the 19th century. The said estate is now a mental hospital where my family and I used to do a Christmas program every year. It's a small world.

Now its time for Dog Park Saturday. Lucky Sophie.
