i'm pooped

Thus endeth my first soccer season ever. Whew! Playoffs today with back-to-back games in the mud. I got kicked in the knee, fell on top of the other team's goalie (which was not all bad ;) - but it still hurts), and had a swell time in general.

Came home after the games and got some Swedish rice porridge started in the big pot, took a shower, started watching Shrek II with the family, and passed out on the couch.

It was a fine, fine day.

Btw - After my shower I decided to see what would happen if I just let my hair dry completely on its own... Disaster. I promise I will never subject any of you to this (poor Todd!!).

ps - I just noticed how in the picture above, half the team is holding their hands in front of them and the other half is holding their hands behind their backs (and then there's me). Wonder if this is linked to personality...?

I still think the rules in your league are unfair. A goal is a goal is A GOAL. Since when did 1 == 2?

Since co-ed soccer... ;) I think it's an awesome rule!

You are a beneficiary of that rule, hence you have an inherent bias. The counsel requests the esteemed court to strike your opinion from the record. Where's Fluffy when you need him/her/it?

Fluffy is a female, so she would probably agree (ok - probably not)... ;)

Tabita is so obsessed with winning and being the best that she has to have special privileges whenever she plays games. If she were a decent human being, a human being who was dedicated to equality and justice for all, she would accept only one point for scoring a goal. But alas, I believe such altruism is beyond the ability of little Miss Muffet.

Odd one out!
I don't know about personality; however body language interpretation can throw some light on the situation. The ones with their hands clasped behind are either angry or frustrated and the ones with hands clasped in front are either nervous or unsure of themselves (explains the posture protecting a 'vulnerable' area). Finally the closest we can get to interpret your posture is the classic hands on hip standing posture that signals aggression! But I'm getting mixed signals with the smile and all! Maybe fluffy can throw in her two bits on this.

The hands on the hips, with the smile, simply means that Tabita is evil.
