purse tragedy

Today my purse of 13+ years broke. I purchased this purse at an outdoor market somewhere in England in the summer of 1991. It has been my steady companion ever since. It's not too big and not too small. It has the right number of compartments to avoid confusion and it is unique.

One friend suggested that I take it to a cobbler. Another friend suggested duck tape. I'm thinking it's shopping time... :)

Duct tape: $2.00
Trip to cobbler: $35.00
Shopping for a new purse: priceless
For everything else, there's ThatOtherCreditCard

:)

Perhaps God is punishing you for something your husband did last week.

Think back. Can you think of anything he did, maybe on Election Day, that might have been displeasing in God's eyes?

;-)

I promised myself I wouldn't post anymore comments, but I can't help myself. Anonymous David (I'm assuming it's him) made another GREAT comment so I have to show my support :-) And since I'm only allowed to make sports comments... allow me to extend his thought into the world of sports. As of right now, NBA teams in Bush states are 23-17, and NBA teams in Kerry states are 16-24. My Mavericks are 3-0; your Grizzlies are 0-3. Coincidence? I think not. The NFL results won't be relevant until the end of this weekend so stay tuned :-D

P.S. The win-loss records given above don't add up correctly because I had to exclude Toronto's record.
